Check your spelling before you travel

I just found this story and it made me laugh.

A 21-year-old German man was trying to book a flight to Sydney Australia, but entered the wrong destination into the booking website and ended up in Sidney, Montana.

Tobi thought he was stopping off in the US on the way to Aussie and later said to friends “I did wonder, but I didn’t want to say anything”.

Well, there are times to keep quiet but if you think your international flight is heading in the wrong direction it probably pays to politely ask the air hostess where you will be disembarking.

It’s a lesson to us all to practice our spelling before we travel and maybe glance at a world map.
