Eat icecream at a Spa 264m below sea level
This may be the coolest spa retreat in the world. Evason Ma’In Hot Springs in Jordan sits in a rocky ravine 264m below sea level. Legend has it that Herod the Great even bathed in the waterfall!
Hot mineral spring waterfalls elegantly cascade into the main pool and relaxation area and you can dine on all things delicious including 40 flavours of homemade icecream.
The jaw dropping highlights include a clifftop restaurant at the edge of the Dead Sea, make your own olive oil classes in the olive gardens, a wine bar with 200 different wines, a Honeymoon Suite with almost 360 degree views of the waterfall and suites with personal spa facilities. Plus forget steam rooms, this place has a steam cave!
It’s eco-friendly too! It’s won ‘Best Environmentally Friendly Architectural Project’ from the Jordanian Association of Engineers.
To get there you’ll need to fly to Amman, but wait until April or you’ll be standing outside the front door until it officially opens. Visit their website here.
