We’ve been nominated for a Travolution Award!

We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve been shortlisted in the Best Price Comparison Website category for the 4th Annual Travolution Awards. Alright, we’ll be the first to admit that they’re hardly the Oscars, but it’s a pretty big deal in the travel industry. We’ve even been trying to think of a twee nickname for the awards in the office. The Travs? The Travies? Anyway, the criteria to even be nominated is very strict, and the selections are made by some of the industry’s biggest players, so it’s great to have received a nod.

I was so excited I decided to grab a quote from our CEO Alex Saint. He said: “The simple fact that we’ve been nominated means that the dealchecker website is at the top of its field in terms of originality, interactivity, functionality, content, clarity and accessibility. So it’d be an understatement to say that the whole company is very proud.”

The ceremony will be held at the swanky Boiler House in the courtyard of London’s towering Battersea Power Station on 28th September (it’s where the Tories launched their manifesto in April, don’t you know). We’ll post some scandalous, champagne-drenched party photos for you when the time comes, we promise.
