Treats for Travel Tips: Ibiza
Phew! Thanks for the brilliant response to our appeal for Florida travel tips – we’re sorting through your amazing advice right now. In the mean time let’s turn our attention to the white island: Ibiza, Spain.
Whilst Ibiza became world-famous for it’s fabulous parties, there’s far more to to this Mediterranean island than superstar DJs, sunset bars and dancing ’til dawn (though they’re all great too).
We want you to tell us your top tips from your times in Ibiza. How do you save money on the super-high prices at the superclubs? Share your hidden beach finds (we won’t tell anyone, promise!), and what would you do in Ibiza on a rare rainy day?

When visiting Ibiza try the Hippy Market of Es Canar! It happens every week and can get quite busy, but it’s a great place to find some unique pieces of Spanish jewellery and clothes, and there’s also some cool restaurants and cafes around the market so you can relax after shopping. Thanks!
Went to Kardemena(Kos) in June and Stayed at the Kris Mari Hotel.Had a super time.Hotel in a very good location.The Greeks are much friendlier than the Spanish.We had bed and breakfast so ate out every evening and all the meals were very good and reasonably priced.Would highly recommend.No need to book transfers as it is cheaper to get a taxi,only 10 mins from airport
Very important Ibiza tip to share…when eating in a nice restaurant, be sure to ditch the swimwear and dress appropriately to avoid any frowns from the friendly locals
My special tip for a brilliant Ibiza holiday is hiring a bike to explore the Island. I’ve downloaded maps of cycling routes from the tourist office and it was really easy to get around, also “rent a bike” companies have some good maps with routes for all levels and can provide guides to accompany you. It’s definitely the best way to appreciate every bit of the Island =)
