Pick of the Real Deals: Casinos & Cruising
This week’s pick of the real deals is one to save for a celebration, but following a record breaking games we do have plenty to celebrate right now….
OK – that might be a slightly tenuous justification, but there’s no arguing with the value in the deal: an eight-night cruise around the gorgeous Mexican Riviera and three nights in a four-star Vegas hotel all from £1,179 per person including all flights!
The holiday gets under way with a flight from the UK into Vegas. You’ll be immersed in the city’s bright lights, 24-hour casinos, spectacular hotels and incredible entertainment in no time.

There are only three nights in Vegas, which is bad because there’s so much to fit in, good because you’ll definitely be due some sleep at the end of them!
Happily the next part of the holiday is a whole lot more laid back. You’ll be cruising along Mexico’s stunning Riviera coast on board Carnival Splendor.

Carnival always ensure there are lots of fun activities on their ships, so Splendor has a massive choice of 22 lounges and bars, a 40,000-square-foot spa, a jogging track, four swimming pools and the brilliant Carnival Seaside Theatre. More than enough entertainment for the eight nights you’ll spend on board.
Plus of course you have lots of places to visit. The cruise departs from Los Angeles (an internal flight from Las Vegas to Los Angeles is included) and sails south to Cabo San Lucas. This town, set at the very tip of the worlds longest peninsula, is one of Mexico’s liveliest tourist resorts where you’ll find an abundance of sandy beaches and world-class diving.

The ship stays moored here overnight, giving you plenty of time to travel a little further afield if you wish. Your other stop on the Mexican Riviera is at Puerto Vallarta, here you’ll find even more sandy beaches, this time backed by palm-covered mountains. There are stylish restaurants and boutiques to explore before you board the ship for a leisurely return voyage.
