This competition sees the finest US golfing talent battle it out against the best from Europe. Honour is most definitely at stake here so make sure you cheer your side on!
World Aquatic Championships, Barcelona

There are all types of water-based events here from traditional swimming to the open-water swim, synchronised swimming, diving and water polo. The diving will be held at the iconic Piscina Municipal de Montjuïc, with breathtaking views of the city in the background. Plus, you’ll be in Barcelona so the world of Gaudi, the gothic quarter and more will be in store too!
Women’s Euro 2013, Sweden

Women’s football really took off in London, with record crowds at many of the matches. If you’re a fan, new or old, why not head to Euro 2013 to see the female teams battling it out for glory. There are venues all around the country, so you can get to know Sweden better too. Check out the The Avenue and the Southern Gothenburg Archipelago in Gothenburg, and the three royal palaces in Solna.
X Games 2013, Various Worldwide Locations

If the crunching crashes at the BMX track have made you hunger for more extreme sports action then the X Games are where it’s at. Expanding to six locations worldwide for 2013 there’s more chance than ever to catch some of the action, whether you want winter or summer daring. Aspen, Colorado, and Tignes in France will host the snow-based events, whilst Foz do Iguaçu in Brazil, Barcelona, Munich and Los Angeles will all host summer events.
